Mothers’ Day Class rescheduled

There will be NO classes held on Sunday, May 9th, due to Mothers’ Day. The classes will be rescheduled for this one week to Saturday evening, May 8th, as follows:

5:00 Jiu-Jitsu

6:00 JKD Kickboxing

Sunday classes will resume as normal on May 16th. Thank you.

Moving to downtown Binghamton!

Effective today, ALL Sunday classes and private lessons will be held at the BC FITNESS ACADEMY facility, located at 223 Main Street in Binghamton (corner of Main and Orton, parking and entrance is in the back of the building across from the car dealership).

I am very, very proud to announce that my wife gave birth this morning to our son, Evan LaClair!

Both of them are doing fine, and I couldn’t be happier! Please help me celebrate the newest addition to Team LaClair!

No classes for December

I’ve decided to close the Academy for the month of December. I’ve picked up an extra seasonal job which has time conflicts with the majority of classes, and I know some of you are having attendance and/or financial issues this month, making it difficult for you to make many of the classes.

Please check back for a new schedule update, which will be posted sometime between Christmas and New Year’s day.

There will be NO class today, Wednesday, October 7th.

There WILL be class on Friday, October 9th, at 10 am.

Also, I will be out of town for a long weekend, visiting family in Vermont and training some of my Vermont students. So, the next class (after this Friday) will be on Wednesday, October 14th.

I strongly recommend that each and every one of you still get some practice in, in the meantime! The Rexer’s facility is open throughout the day, 7 days a week, with mats available upstairs and/or downstairs for you to practice on.

Fondry wins Muay Thai debut

On September 26th, in Burlington, Vemont, Team LaClair’s Aaron Fondry fought Chris Carney in “The Muay Thai Mayhem II “. Fondry beat Carney in all three rounds with a perfect 10-8 score. Here is the highlight video:

As of September 18th, I have moved ALL classes to the new facility, located at Rexer’s Karate & Fitness in Endicott, NY. I will no longer be offering ANY classes at the Shamrock location. Please check the SCHEDULE page for new updates.

The facility at Rexer’s is a HUGE improvement over the Shamrock. Cleaner, quieter, and more conducive to learning, the feedback so far from everyone who has attended the Endicott classes has been unanimously positive. I’m looking forward to moving forward with growing the school without the myriad problems that plauged us at the Shamrock.

Due to scheduling conflicts at the Shamrock Athletic Center, the Tuesday and Wednesday night classes will no longer be offered there.
To replace them, we will now be offering classes at Rexer’s Karate & Fitness Center, in Endicott, on Monday and Wednesday evenings, beginning September 14th. Please check the Class Schedule page for the new schedule.
